DALLAS CPA FIRM RECEIVES AWARDS
REYNA CPAs has received two new major recognitions
for its quality and premier service: Outstanding Committee Member Award from
the local Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPAs) and the Loan
Star Pathfinder Award from the statewide Texas Society of CPAs.
On May 16, 2002 the Dallas Chapter of TSCPAs
presented Miguel Reyna, CPA with the Outstanding Committee Member Award for his
participation as the lead speaker for the Partners in Education group. This
award is presented to the leading CPA in the Dallas Chapter who participates in
enhancing the image of CPAs. Mr. Reyna visited schools and career fairs to
speak to students about the importance of staying in school and consideration
of pursuing accounting careers.
At the state level, Mr. Reyna was presented with the
Lone Star Pathfinder Award on June 14, 2002 at the Annual State Convention for
Texas CPAs held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Lone Star Pathfinder Award has been designated as
a way to identify CPAs who serve as role models and who are recognized as being
on the cutting edge of the accounting profession.
These awards add to the previous honors received by
Mr. Reyna for the Quality Circle Award from the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce (GDHCC) and the highest ranking in the Peer Review Program
sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA).
The GDHCC recognized Mr. Reyna with the Quality
Circle Award as a Hispanic entrepreneur who has been successful in the
Professional Services category and has contributed toward the growth of the
Hispanic community.
The AICPA is the premier national association for
CPAs in the U.S. Under the Peer Review Program the AICPA periodically audits
CPA firms to provide assurance of quality control for accounting and auditing
practices. Reyna CPAs has received the top ranking in this program. Only 20% of
CPAs firms nation-wide receive this recognition. With a staff of
six, this
Dallas native heads up a bilingual, full-service accounting firm that
specializes in tax, retirement and investment services. It also offers
expertise in business and systems risk analysis, merger and acquisitions and
due diligence services for its 500 clients. |
